The launch kit writes a month of posts, building to your launch near the middle of the month. Post scheduling puts them on your calendar and hands them to a scheduler. The studio never posts for you and never connects to your accounts: you upload the file yourself.
- Choose the days. Pick the day the first post goes out (by default two weeks before the publication date in this edition's details) and the time. Each post after it goes out a day later, in the kit's order.
- Choose the posts. Leave out any you won't use, or take them ten at a time for Buffer's free plan. Add the kit's hashtags to each post if you like.
- Your link. Wherever a post says [link], your book page's address goes in when the page is on; give another address if you prefer, such as your book's store page.
- Buffer. Download the Buffer file and upload it in Buffer: open the channel's settings, choose Bulk Upload, and pick the file. Buffer schedules each post at its time. Its free plan takes 10 posts at a time, so upload the month in parts there; a paid plan takes 100.
- A calendar. Download the calendar file and open it in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook: each post is an event at its time, with the text in it to copy, and a reminder ten minutes before.
