What Studio credit buys
AI work is paid from Studio credit, in packs of $10, $25, $50, $100 or $250. Every job shows its price before it runs and stops at that price; the credit for what a job doesn’t finish comes back.
| Job | Price |
|---|---|
| A production translationThe style bible, the first chapters for your approval, then the translation, an editor's pass, harmonization, the checks and a QA report. | $1.00 per 1,000 words of the original |
| A draft translationOne pass and the automated checks. | $0.30 per 1,000 words |
| Translating with your own AI keyThe studio's fee for either kind; your AI provider bills you for the AI. | $0.25 per 1,000 words |
| ProofreadingSuggested fixes for the whole manuscript, each to accept or reject. | $0.10 per 1,000 words |
| The writing assistantCritique, continuity checks or line suggestions on a chapter. | $0.10 per 1,000 words, at least $0.05 a run |

| A launch kitBlurbs, taglines, review requests and a month of social posts for an edition. | $2 an edition |
A 100,000-word novel translated for production costs $100. In translations, languages written without spaces, such as Japanese and Chinese, count 2 characters as a word. Builds, covers, store kits, the ISBN tools and the calculators take no credit.
Your files are yours
- Standard files. EPUBs, print-ready PDFs, covers and store kits download as ordinary files that work anywhere.
- Your stores, your accounts. We never upload or publish for you: your book goes to each store under your own account, and stays there if you leave.
- Everything, in one download. Export all your data at any time as one ZIP. Delete your account, and your books and files go at once, and from our backups within 12 months; payment records stay as long as tax law requires.
- No training on your book. When the studio runs AI for you, it uses business services whose terms don’t allow training on your text.
Refunds
Ask within 14 days of your first payment, or of a yearly renewal, and a plan comes back in full; a Book Pass within 14 days of buying it; and Studio credit you haven’t spent, within 14 days of buying the pack. Monthly renewals aren’t refunded. The Refund Policy has the details.
