EPUBCheck is the validator the publishing industry uses, and the stores check uploads against it. The studio runs it on every ebook it builds and shows the result next to the download.

0 errors means the file is ready to upload.
If it finds a problem, the build says what and where, and the studio doesn't call the file ready.
