A press that publishes books for other people keeps each client's books in a workspace of its own. A workspace is like your main one: it has its own books, team, pen names, imprints, ISBNs and series. Your plan, your Studio credit and your seats are shared by all of them.
- Making one. On the Team page, under Client workspaces, give the workspace a name, such as the client's. You're its owner, as you are of every workspace, and you move between them with the switcher above the menu.
- The client's own access. In the client's workspace, invite them as a client. A client reads the books there and comments on the manuscripts, and changes nothing else. They never see your other workspaces.
- Your team. Invite your editors, translators and designers into the workspaces they work in, the same way as in your main one.
- Seats. A client takes no seat. Someone who works in several workspaces takes one seat, not one for each.
- Renaming and deleting. Rename any workspace, the main one too. A workspace can be deleted once nothing is left in it but people: no books, ISBNs, pictures, jobs, sales reports, glossary terms, rebuild runs, webhooks, brand kits or API keys. The main workspace stays.
