On the book page, Add large print gives an edition a fourth format next to its ebook, paperback and hardcover: a paperback in large type for readers with low vision. It's a book of its own, so it has its own ISBN, cover, price and listing, and the studio builds it from the same manuscript as the others.
- Type size: 16 points (where KDP's large print starts) or 18 (what libraries ask for), in the format's Settings. Everything else grows with it: running heads, page numbers, chapter headings, the contents and the copyright page. The inside margin is wider too, as a large-print book is thicker.
- Type style: the classic type, or the dyslexia-friendly one, as for any printed book.
- Trim and paper: any paperback trim; a larger one keeps the page count down.
In KDP it's a paperback with the large-print box ticked: the Store kits tab lists it as a Large Print Paperback with that box among its answers, priced and checked as a paperback at its own page count.
