A 2 MB ebook at €2.69, the lowest price on the 70% plan, earns about €1.56 a sale.

A 300-page 6 × 9 inch paperback in black ink costs about €4.35 to print here, and KDP accepts it from €8.70. At €9.99, where the 60% rate starts, it earns about €1.64 a copy.

A 300-page 6 × 9 inch hardcover in black ink costs about €8.25 to print here. KDP's lowest list price for it is €13.75, where 60% of the price only just covers printing, so a copy earns next to nothing; each €1.00 above that earns €0.60 more.
